A message from the founder of EFT. Gary Craig.
"I hope this doesn't sound too grandiose, but I've been doing energy healing work since 1991 and my jaw still drops at the results. I've lost count of the number of phobias, panic/anxiety attacks, traumatic memories, guilt, grief and physical ailments that have been elegantly relieved (often in minutes) by this procedure. Even though EFT violates just about every conventional belief out there, the results remain remarkable. EFT isn't perfect, of course. We don't get 100%. But it usually works well and the results are sometimes spectacular. It often works where nothing else will."

What is EFT ? (Emotional Freedom Technique)
This technique can be simply explained as being a form of acupuncture without needles. It is an emotional transformation/healing technique (for example, for traumas, phobias, grief, anger, guilt, anxiety, etc.) that is also capable of relieving many physical symptoms (aches and pains, headaches and migraines, asthma, etc.).
The theory is : "The cause of all negative emotion is a disruption in the body's energy system." This discovery opposes many deeply anchored beliefs in conventional psychology.
This technique is so effective that one almost always obtains immediate and lasting results and it often brings about relief where other techniques have failed. Its success rate is in the high 80% or better, and its side effects are always positive.
The person gently taps on specific points along the meridians as they focus on their problem. (see tapping points lower down page). By tapping, they balance the meridians that are disrupted when they think about a negative emotion. Once they are balanced, this person is no longer disturbed by the event, even when they try! The memory is still there, but the emotional charge is gone.
EFT is a very flexible and creative technique. Thousands of therapists and clients all over the word trust it and use it with great success, even with severe and complex cases.

Where did EFT come from?
EFT has its roots in ancient Chinese medicine and the modern science of Applied Kinesiology. EFT as we know it today was developed with the pioneering work done by Gary Craig & Dr. Roger Callaghan in the mid 1990’s.
|
How does EFT work?
The basic theory is that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system. EFT restores the body’s natural balance, removes the energy disruption and thereby removes the problem.
With remarkable consistency, EFT relieves symptoms by an unusual (but scientific) routine of tapping with the fingertips on specific points on the energy meridians, which neutralises disruptions in your body's electrical system.
It is the subject of much speculation why pain and physical problems respond to EFT in the same way as emotional problems. One clue may come from the recent discovery that the same area of the brain is used to deal with both anxiety and pain.

Are there any side effects?
The only side effects are good ones, where treating one problem it may cause another problem to heal spontaneously. EFT is gentle and is often combined with, or used instead of other procedures, including hypnotherapy. People often report feeling energised after an EFT session.
|
How long will it take me to heal?
Unfortunately there are no set rules that may be applied here, because every problem is different, and every person is different. With amazing regularity I have seen physical pain subside in minutes and the effects are usually long lasting.
Deeply rooted behaviours or beliefs may take longer to eliminate than some more simple problems. But ultimately these techniques can rid you of the negative emotional issues. enabling you to attain your true potential.

Important: Whilst EFT can produce some quite remarkable results, you must ultimately take responsibility for your own health and well-being. Under NO circumstances must you cease taking prescribed medication without your medical advisors approval.
