Some background on us
John Birtwistle D.Hyp, BSCH (Assoc.) AAMET.

Since I completed training with the LCCH. (London College of Clinical Hypnosis) www.lcch.co.uk we have run a successful private practice here in Oldham. I have also trained in the USA and UK with EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and have incorporated these techniques as primary therapeutic tools in our practice, which has opened a new doorway to alternative healing. (see EFT page).
I have a special interest in Flying Phobias. Since gaining my Private Pilots licence in 1992 I have even put my techniques to the ultimate test and taken people whom have had a previous phobia of flying up in the skies with me, although this is not mandatory.

I also work part time for the local government assisting people with a wide range of social and personnel issues.
Both John and myself do work on a part time basis for the National Phobics Society. www.phobics-society.org.uk Established in 1970, the NPS. has over the years grown to become the largest charity dealing with anxiety and phobias in the UK.
